Testimonials
So what do people think?
"I saw a request for a journalist to write an article displayed on Press4travel.com and responded and managed to fit the criteria. It was a nice bonus for me, not to have to make an appointment to sell ideas and then wait ages while decisions are made and budgets taken into account. It’s great to be able to fit a remit within a matter of a couple of hours. Hopefully more people will advertise their needs on this very useful website."
Louise Rodden, Award winning Freelance Travel Journalist
"I registered with Press4travel a few weeks ago. In that short time, I've run press releases from Lincoln and Leicester in the European Travel News section of Europeforvisitors.com. I've also placed several other stories in the queues for our travel and cruise news sections."
"Unlike some of the other PR news distributors that I've dealt with, Press4travel doesn't stuff my e-mail inbox with press releases - it just alerts me to stories that may be of interest, then makes it easy to obtain the press releases and contact the PR staff. Press4travel is a class act, and it's now my preferred source of travel news about Britain."
Durant Imboden, Europe for Visitors
"As a Features Editor I find Press4travel invaluable as a source of up to the minute travel information, offers and events. Thanks to its 'Any Takers' section I have been on three FAM trips already this year and expect to go on more - it's a great service for any travel journalist."
Claire Borley, Features Editor, Basildon Evening Echo
"Press4travel is the most organised and effective service of its kind. The journalist newsletters are fantastic. All journalists are inundated with emails on a daily basis, however, I know the emails from Press4travel are relevant and I use the press releases in my publication. The 'Help Needed' section is a great idea for journalists who are looking for information in relation to their feature ideas. Well done Press4travel!"
Geoff Hill, Features Editor, News Letter
"I got a good contact from the PR people who manage the SATA airlines, as a result of which I got all my flights for free, virtually unheard of these days."
"Also from my 'help needed' request I received information and documents from another PR who had been to the Azores, and sent me useful information."
Terry Marsh, Freelance travel writer and photographer
"This is a brilliant service, well done. "
Ann Mooney, Irish Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday
"Within a week of registering on www.press4travel.com I achieved my first national media coverage!"
"This was by responding to a journalist requesting information on adventure holidays through the site’s easy to use and very effective ‘Help Needed’ section. This led to us being featured in The Guardian, complete with web address."
"I am delighted with the site and will keep responding to similar requests."
"Staff at press4travel are always friendly and helpful, making sure I get the most possible out of the site and happy to answer any questions."

"The Pyrenean Experience is a very small company, run by myself - a single mother with a bossy Basque daughter - from my bedroom on our farm in the Spanish Pyrenees. Mail shots are a family affair with my 75-year-old mother writing the addresses on the envelopes and my 5-year-old daughter conscientiously lining up the stamps. Nevertheless the company has been running for over a decade much due to faithful clients, word-of-mouth and a rather scatty, slap-happy approach to marketing. For such a small company most advertising is far too expensive and we have had to depend on press coverage and friendly journalists to make ourselves known. This and the tireless battle to keep up with the Joneses on Google. "
"In June this year I took the plunge and joined Press4Travel and within a month the experiment had paid for itself many times over with coverage in both The Irish Times and The Guardian.... long may this last! So thank you to Press4Travel, for the friendly personal support and those out of the blue phone calls that have sent me running to the computer to submit vital statistics to journalists whose articles can make – and have made - a considerable difference to my year!"
"Keep up the good work!"

"“I had the idea of sending a writer/writers ‘around the world in holiday homes’ to blog about their experiences and promote holiday rentals as an alternative way to travel. But after pitching to a couple of national travel editors without any success, I decided to post the idea in the ‘any takers’ section of Press4travel. I got a great response and soon commissioned two top journalists for the task. Many thanks for your help Press4travel, the blog launched in January and is now going strong, generating lots of great coverage and links!”"
